Outdoor and indoor wayfinding system

Business Park
Stankolit business park is a neighborhood consisting of office buildings, a retail gallery, a grocery store, a supermarket and 10 separate buildings. The business park is located on the territory of a former casting factory, which provides a strong historical context.
We were challenged to develop an indoor and outdoor wayfinding system. Due to the complex historical architecture and the different purposes of the spaces in one building, we introduced a hierarchy of entrances, separating retail, offices and the shopping gallery.
The outdoor wayfinding tools are made of perforated metal, which adds brutalism and gives a reference to the historical context of the space. The information fields on all media are made on a modular principle, which allows changing the information when tenants change.
Pedestrian and car wayfinding is separated by colour coding - grey is used for pedestrians and black for cars.
Due to the large number of buildings on the site and the complex space, the challenge was to make the building number visible from a distance. Therefore, all markers are backlit and positioned at a height for good visibility.
